5–7 daysProjects
Fixed-scope work with a written deliverable. Fees vary with the number of states, regulators and issues involved.
A map of the central and state rules, pending bills, draft notifications and enforcement trends that apply to your business, with a risk rating for each.
2–3 weeksAn assessment of a target company's licences, state and central approvals, pending regulatory changes and enforcement exposure, for investors and acquirers in regulated sectors. Prepared alongside the deal's legal counsel and chartered accountants.
2–4 weeksThe departments, approvals, incentive schemes and sequencing plan for entering a new state. A Tamil Nadu edition is available.
3–4 weeksThe ministries, regulators, legislative committees and industry bodies relevant to your issue, their positions and influence, and an engagement plan.
2 weeksA brief for businesses, investors and media on a state's political landscape: the likely policy direction after an election, the risk to existing approvals and incentives, and the decision-makers to track. Non-partisan, based on constituency data and field intelligence.
1–2 weeksA drafted submission on draft rules or a draft policy, for a central ministry, a regulator or a state department.
1–2 weeksAligning industry peers and associations behind a joint position on the same consultation.
3–6 weeksAn MoU draft, a presentation for state officials and a programme management unit design, for organisations partnering with a state department.
3–4 weeksA 10 to 20 page research-backed paper, published under your name or co-branded.
3–5 weeksA half-day or full-day session on the policy environment and how to engage government, for leadership teams, boards or investors.
One sessionOngoing
For organisations that need regular tracking or a standing policy function.
A weekly or monthly tracker of gazette notifications, consultations, Parliament and Assembly business, and court rulings in your sector.
Monthly subscriptionOngoing strategy, briefing notes, positioning and meeting preparation.
Minimum six monthsA rapid-response plan and its execution when a ban, notice or adverse order lands.
2–4 weeksPayment
Fees are fixed in the written scope and quoted in rupees, exclusive of GST.
50% on confirming the scope and 50% on delivery.
Paid in full before the call. The fee is credited against any project confirmed within 30 days.
Billed monthly in advance. Either side can stop with 30 days' notice, after the retainer's six-month minimum.
Payable by bank transfer or UPI within 7 days. TDS may be deducted as applicable; please share the TDS certificate.
One round of revisions is included; further changes are scoped separately. Travel outside Chennai is billed at actual cost, with your approval in advance.
If you cancel after work begins, the advance covers the work done. Anything beyond the advance is billed pro rata.
Terms
Concessional fees are available for nonprofits and foundations.
Everything you share in a brief is kept confidential, whether or not we go ahead.
I don't sell access to officials or promise approvals. The work is analysis, strategy, drafting and representation of your position.
